How to access services:
- 3 meals daily
- Skills training through work therapy
- Referrals to VA health services
- Access to subsidized transitional housing, vocational services, and social work advocacy assistance
- Homeless
- Veterans who are eligible for VA care
- Medically stable
- Total self care
- Psychologically stable
- Capable of staying clean and sober
- Willing to participate in urinalysis and breath testing for substance use.
- Capable of living cooperatively and safely in a group and community setting
- Willing to participate in the resident council and work therapy program
- Free of TB exposure
The "Veterans Housing Facility" staff will out reach to homeless veterans through out the San Francisco Bay Area. VA registration forms and assessment forms will be completed onsite with applicants. Veterans may also call the facility to apply by phone. Consultation with applicants, or referral source as appropriate, will be considered.
